\u201cYou are right! One just cannot trust that these surveys are anonymous.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cI have never responded to these kinds of surveys! I am afraid to give any negative feedback \u2013 you never know what will happen!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

You\u2019ve probably heard comments like these in your organization, just before you launch the annual employee survey.<\/p>\n

Believe me, you don\u2019t need to worry. How so? Well, because finding out who said what is not the point of conducting an employee survey. And even if it were, no one in your organization would have access to your responses anyway.<\/p>\n

At Siqni, we take care or everyone\u2019s confidentiality in several ways. Let me tell you just how we do that.<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. In Siqni, the same rules apply to your company and us as well. No one in your company or in the Siqni team has access to respondents\u2019 unique responses.<\/li>\n
  2. In Siqni, in addition to company results, data is reported also on smaller groups, such as on the team level. For reports on smaller groups, you need to have responses from at least 5 respondents from that group before you will get their group results.<\/li>\n
  3. In Siqni, you cannot pivot the data in order to review the responses by any background variables \u2013 social or organizational.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    What do I mean by social and organizational variables?<\/h2>\n

    Let\u2019s take Emily as an example employee.<\/p>\n

    Emily is 40 years old, she\u2019s been with the company for 6 months, she works in the Sales team that is based in Berlin.<\/p>\n

    When Emily responds in Siqni, her responses are categorized in 5 different respondent groups, in the following individual Siqni reports:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Group of 36\u201340 years old<\/li>\n
    2. Group of females<\/li>\n
    3. Group of employees who have worked for the company less than 1 year<\/li>\n
    4. Organizational unit, Sales team<\/li>\n
    5. Location, Berlin<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      In Siqni, you can only review one respondent group report at a time. You can review the responses of all respondents in the Sales team, or by age group 36\u201340 years old (incl. female, male, other). You cannot review, for examples, females aged 36\u201340 in the Sales team at the same time. This means that we guarantee confidentiality for all respondents.<\/p>\n

      How about the personalized link and the pin code in the invitation email? Looks like you know who I am. This can\u2019t be confidential. Got ya!<\/h2>\n

      We use a personalized link in the invitation email, this is true. We do so in order to enable the system to track who has responded and who has not, and to send reminders to those who have not yet taken part in the survey. We want to make sure everyone has a chance to respond, and we make sure that everyone responds only once.<\/p>\n

      Technically speaking, the respondents\u2019 data, background variables, and the link information are stored in separate databases. Therefore, they cannot be linked together \u2013 even by the smartest tech gurus!<\/p>\n

      Siqni cannot (and does not want to!) provide a report from a single respondent\u2019s data. No one has to worry that their employer will dig into the data and find out who said what in the Siqni survey.<\/p>\n

      Only actions change the world<\/h2>\n

      So, take action now! Take 20 minutes to reflect on what\u2019s most significant for you in your work and how that is fulfilled at the moment. By taking the time and by giving your honest feedback, you and your organization can develop.<\/p>\n
